According to Section 605.020 - It shall be unlawful for any person, either directly or indirectly, to conduct any business or for-profit enterprise or to use in connection therewith any vehicle, premises, machine or device, in whole or in part, for which a license or permit is required by any law or by this Code or other ordinance of this City, without a license or permit therefor being first procured and kept in effect at all such times as required by law or by this Code or other ordinance. BUSINESS LICENSE:
City of Malden Business License is effective July 1st to June 30th each year. Licenses must be purchased by July 15th. If license is not purchased by July 15th a late fee of $10 per month will be accessed and citations may be issued. 
Fee:
$150 or upon proof of gross receipts for the preceding year's business, less State and Federal taxes per Section 605.250 of the Malden City Code. 
Business License Application

MERCHANT LICENSE:
City of Malden Merchant License is effective July 1st to June 30th each year. Licenses must be purchased by July 15th. If license is not purchased by July 15th a late fee of $10 per month will be accessed and citations may be issued. 
Fee: 
Based upon proof of gross receipts for the preceding year's business, less State and Federal taxes per Section 605.190(a) of the Malden City Code. 
Merchant's License

MANUFACTURE LICENSE:
City of Malden Manufacture License is effective July 1st to June 30th each year. Licenses must be purchased by July 15th. If license is not purchased by July 15th a late fee of $10 per month will be accessed and citations may be issued. 
Fee: 
Based upon number of employees from preceding year's business per Section 605.250 of the Malden City Code. 
Manufacture's License Application

CONTRACTOR LICENSE:
City of Malden Contractor License are effective for one year. Contractors are defined as businesses with a principal place of business located outside the city limits of Malden but have been contracted to complete work within the city limits of Malden.

$100
Contractor's License Application

Applications and fee must be turned into Malden City Hall, 201 S. Madison St., Malden, MO 63863.
